Read the actual license
Check embedded name-table records, files distributed with the font, and the rights holder’s official source. A download page or public URL is not itself a modification license.
Check derivative requirements
Some licenses require the derivative to retain notices, use the same license, avoid reserved font names, or include attribution. Commercial use, embedding, and redistribution may have separate conditions.
The tool cannot grant rights
Lipi processes projects locally and does not approve, license, or guarantee user-supplied fonts. Keep evidence of permission and obtain qualified legal advice when ownership or intended use is uncertain.
