1. Uploading and Inspecting Any Font File
Open Lipi Font Studio or Font Analyzer and drop your font file (.ttf, .otf, or .woff2). Lipi parses the binary OpenType tables client-side using WebAssembly, without uploading your proprietary font files to any remote server.
You can inspect complete glyph tables, preview character mappings, examine typographic ascender/descender metrics, and verify font metadata (designer name, version, copyright, and licensing terms).
2. Stress-Testing Complex Indic Conjuncts
Indic typography places rigorous demands on OpenType shaping engines. Lipi provides automated test suites for 2-consonant, 3-consonant (e.g. "ಸ್ತ್ರ", "ಕ್ಷ್ಮ"), and 4-consonant clusters (e.g. "ಸ್ತ್ರ್ಯ", "ಕ್ತ್ರ್ಯ").
Use the Live Glyph Canvas to toggle kerning, adjust baseline offsets, and verify that conjunct subscripts (vattus) attach seamlessly to their base consonants without visual clipping or overlap.
